Victoria Hotel a NuVe Group Collection

The rooms is comfortable and feels cozy. Rooms are small but not tiny - I find it quite comfortable and always clean. I sleep very very well at VH. The desk is quite ample for working and I can focus because it’s also not too noisy. The front desk staff is always helpful and friendly A++. The cleaning staff are helpful and I’m impressed by their attentiveness. Who doesn’t love little fish crackers and free Oreos daily ;+). Thank to the staff !!

What particularly stands out for this small hotel is its central location in the city with a bus stopping directly in front of the hotel and a metro entrance a very short distance away from the back door of the hotel. We liked this hotel particularly also for the helpfulness of its daytime staff who were also easy to communicate with. For a small number of pages in emergency you could even get copies from reception. For example we needed urgently a page for a visa. The hotel has a restaurant on the ground floor next to reception if you particularly like very hot dishes. We had some soup and enjoyed a lemon drink there. The hotel does not serve breakfast. However there is a small supermarket open at all hours next door where you can find anything you need and a shopping mall not so far away on the main road. The rooms are relatively somewhat small but quiet and quite practical and the lift to the upper floors was very efficient. The clothes washing and drying machine provided for guests was also very useful for a very small amount of money. Another thing to note is that you can use your credit card in taxis and in buses and in the metro system, if only at a slightly higher cost, which is really so much more convenient when you are there for only a short stay. We also found it quite easy to order a taxi from reception whenever we needed. In Singapore there are so many things to see. Apart from the museums and food and cultural events, certainly anybody should also try to visit the Night Safari and River Wonders whose staff are dedicated to conservation and prevention of climate change before they leave. We definitely will stay at this hotel again the next time we are in Singapore.

I loved this location and am thankful he stayed up late for a 2AM check in. My room was clean and I felt safe as a solo female traveler. The front desk was very helpful with my questions about the city (my SIM card was locked and I had no cell phone outside of wifi)-- I had to navigate old school with no cell phone and these days there are no more paper maps! I would stay here again.

*We liked the location of the hotel because it is center to many areas (such as Chinatown, Little India, Arab street), have 3 mrt stations nearby, and lots of bus stops nearby too. The airport bus is a 2 minute walk away. *The Indian restaurant downstairs was good, 7-eleven and money changer are right next door. *The staff, reception, cleaning and maintenance, are friendly and accommodating. *Easy check in and check out process *The amenities are complete and we enjoyed the minibar a lot.

Incredibly well designed... it's beautiful. Silent and the bed is very comfy. Firm but not hard. High end linen. They put money into this place.
